Michigan Aynoka Project is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization focused on food sovereignty in Lansing, Michigan. We aim to collaborate fruitfully with Capital Area community members to establish a network of resources and support for addressing food security issues in the Lansing area. 

The Michigan Aynoka Project is also an active urban agroecosystem research project. We have been integrating perennial woody plants native to the Great Lakes region into an urban agroecological setting. The concept is to produce food that relies on the ecosystem services provided by Native plants, pollinators, and other ecological allies.
