Mission: The Michigan Aynoka Project is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and supporting food access and security initiatives in Lansing, Michigan.
Vision: We aim to collaborate with community members and organizations to build a network of resources and support to address food security issues in the Capital area.
Values: Equity, justice, reciprocity, resilience, sustainability, and solidarity + respect for the Anishinaabe land and people, without whom our projects and garden in Nkwejong would not be possible. In alignment with our commitment to the Anishinaabe people, the Michigan Aynoka Project makes an annual $500 donation to the Saginaw Chippewa Tribe's Ziibiwing Center, their cultural and lifeways museum.
