As of spring 2026, we have been collaborating with the Ingham County Land Bank's Garden Project to develop a food forest on the corner of Marcus and Mifflin. This site consists of a 2,500-square-foot urban farm plot planted with corn, squash, beans, melon, quinoa, and potatoes, integrated into a plot being transformed into a food forest that contains the following tree species: paw paw, tulip, redbud, northern catalpa, American plum, cherry, peach, black walnut, serviceberry, and elderberry.
